Proaim CM-GPMG-01 Overview
The Gripmag Magnetic Car Mount from Proaim includes magnetic mounting disks, a grip head, and articulating arms that allow you to mount a DSLR or mirrorless camera weighing up to 10 lb onto a car or other moving platform. The rubberized magnetic disks can be used in a pair on a metal surface, or they can be used with the additional pair of magnetic disks for mounting your camera onto a glass window for a secure hold on a moving vehicle.
One mounting arm features a 1/4"-20 thread for mounting onto the bottom of your camera, and the other articulating arm mounts via a shoe adapter, 5/16"-18, 1/4"-20, or 3/8"-16 screw on top of your camera using a heavy-duty grip head. The arms mount onto one set of magnetic disks, and they can adjust using their ball joint for the proper positioning. A carry bag is included for storing and transporting the mount.
The other magic arm with 1/4"-20 thread also securely rigs the camera from the base. The adjustable magic arms remain securely positioned in a desired orientation with the help of locking knobs, allowing you to select your preferred shooting angle with ease.
