Description
PulseAudio PAEXARC1 Overview
Deliver digital audio signals to your display over a single Cat 5e/6 cable using the PAEXARC1 ARC Digital Audio Extender from PulseAudio. The extender features one transmitter unit and one receiver unit. The transmitter has TOSLINK S/PDIF and HDMI ARC inputs and an RJ45 output. The receiver unit has an RJ45 input and TOSLINK S/PDIF and HDMI ARC outputs. Digital signals can be delivered up to 492.1' via Cat 5e/6 cable at low sampling rates and up to 295' at high sampling rates.
An onboard switch at the front of the transmitter can toggle between S/PDIF audio and ARC audio. The extender supports PCM, DTS, and Dolby audio formats. Access a CEC pass-through when the HDMI ARC mode is enabled. Both units are powered via micro-USB input with the included USB-A to micro-USB cables and power adapters.
