RVLVR Wooden Handgrip with Trigger Overview
The Right-Side Remote Clutch Handle with LANC Camera Control from RVLVR puts comfort and camera control at your fingertips. The smooth, ergonomic handgrip is made of solid walnut and durable anodized aluminum, and it mounts onto a cage or rig using its male ARRI-style rosette with M6 screw that allows 360° rotation. The rosette and its mini cage can be unmounted by removing its four 1/4"-20 screws to utilize a grid of eighteen 1/4"-20 threads for other mounting options.
The handgrip features a start/stop button on top, which is compatible with most cameras that use the LANC protocol, such as Z CAM cine cameras. Using the included coiled LANC remote cable, you can connect to the camera and utilize the start/stop button right out of the box, or you can control other LANC-available camera features using the two thumbwheels that rotate and also click to provide additional functions. Available settings can include aperture, shutter, ISO, white balance, and more, depending on which controls your camera supports over the LANC protocol.
The firmware on the handle is upgradeable using its USB Type-C port that can connect to a Windows computer. A RVLVR Windows app is free to download and allows you to update the handle as additional cameras and functions are supported. A coiled LANC cable is included that extends from 7" to a comfortable 20" in length.
