This thing is FAST!
I transferred a GoPro video from microSD to my Macbook Pro M1 and then transferred it from the MB to the T7 and it did a 3.5 gb file in about 4 seconds. At that speed it was hard to syncronize everything and the margin of error could have been from 3.5 to 4.7 seconds but that is getting super close to 1 gb/s transfer rate. Solve my problems of dealing with these massive GoPro video files. :)

Great Design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this device for over a month and love it. The uploads are super fast. The rugged feel gives you a good sense of protection if it drops. Playing videos off the portable storage does play choppy.
Great product
Last time I bought a portable SSD from a different brand, it wasn't plug and play. So I need to google and spent half an hour to find the document that tells me what I needed to do to make it work. Not this time with this product. It worked right out of the box with no fuss, no time wasted. It's also fast. I can't comment on its weather sealing yet since I've never been caught in that situation yet. So overall, so far so good.

Connection to the drive is not as solid as standard T7 drive
I purchased this drive after using Samsung T7 drives for the past few years for my video editing drive. My only complaint is the USB C connection seems loose, and it has lost connection 2 times when moving my MBPro from place to place. I fully support the drive when doing this, and it's an activity I have done countless times with the standard T7 drives over the years without issue. I am otherwise very happy with the drives performance, but this may force me to return it as it corrupted an FCPX Library the last time.
