SoundSecure SS-801 Overview
The SS-801 from SoundSecure is a mic-level omnidirectional microphone designed for security applications. It connects directly to an IP camera's audio inputs to send audio over your network to go along with captured video. External power is not required for operation because the SS-801 is powered by the connected camera. This microphone will pick up audio from up to 12' away in all directions. The microphone's enclosure is designed for ceiling or wall installation with no exposed screws or connectors.
