TipTop Audio Analog Bundle S1 Overview
Generate beefy analog tones with the TipTop Audio The Analog Bundle S1, a limited-edition collection of modules designed to introduce you to the ART modular synthesizer line while saving you money. The S1 Bundle includes the ART V/Oct Quantizer as a controller with three ATX1 analog oscillators, the MIX7 analog summing mixer, and the 4-pole Z2040 LP-VCF filter as well as the Control Path dual-envelope plus VCA dynamics module.
Designed to play ART oscillators from CV sequencers, LFOs, and anything that outputs CV, the TipTop Audio ART V/OCT Quantizer, a four channel CV to ART quantizer that's designed for playing ART without a computer or MIDI source.
The inputs work with positive, negative, and bipolar CV voltages. Scales include Major, Minor, and the five other modes (Dorian, Lydian, etc). The module is easy to set up with a simple menu, one knob, and a switch for navigation. The 4th channel can be set to generate chords and polyphonic note streams for ART polyphonic oscillators. The module includes a ribbon power cable.

Create analog polyphonic synths and multimono patches with the Tiptop Audio ATX1, a classic, all-analog saw-core voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with three switchable modes (ART, 1V/Oct, LFO), designed as the basic building block for the ART system. ART is the latest Eurorack signal (like CV and gate), but with multiple streams of information including 100% perfect pitch.
In 1V/Oct mode, the ATX1 runs as a standard old-school modular VCO. LFO mode drops the frequency range to CV level and is great for patching vibrato to other ATX1 and VORTEX oscillators. The ATX1 outputs variable waveshapes with manual or CV control. Classic FM, PWM, and hard sync are provided. As with all ART-enabled sound sources, a dedicated gate out ensures the voice envelope or any modulation source is synced to that voice.
- Classic all-analog saw-core VCO
- 3 switchable modes: ART, 1V/Oct, and LFO
- Basic building block for ART systems
- Designed for patching analog polyphonic synths from discrete modules or multimono patches in ART mode
- ART provides 100% accurate tuning and accounts for temperature changes.
- 1V/Oct Mode: Runs as a standard old-school modular VCO
- LFO Mode: Drops frequency range and is great for patching vibrato to other ATX1 and VORTEX sound sources
- Outputs variable waveshapes (sine, triangle, sawtooth, square) with manual or CV control
- Includes Classic FM, PWM, and hard sync
- Dedicated Gate Out in ART mode manages the voice envelopes or any modulation synced to that voice
- 8 HP Eurorack format module
- Maximum depth: 1.6" (40mm)
- Includes power ribbon cable with Eurorack power headers
- Power consumption: +12V: 105mA, -12V: 33mA
Mix your signals with the Tiptop Audio MIX7, a mono, seven-channel, analog summing mixer for your Eurorack modular system. Combine audio, CV, gate, or trigger signals to create rhythms, note patterns, or CV automations from different control surfaces.
The MIX7 is built with low-noise operational amplifiers, giving it an excellent sound quality for mixing audio. Each input is labeled with a number of dots and you can combine two MIX7 to create a 13-channel summing mixer. The MIX7 ships with a ribbon power cable.
- 7-channel mono summing mixer
- Mix audio, CV, triggers, or gate signals
- Two modes of operation:
- Unity Gain (Jumper Off: Out = In): The level of each input equals that of the output, what comes in comes out.
- Attenuated Gain (Jumper On: Out = 0.4 In): The level of each input is attenuated at the output to provide more headroom for mixing hot (loud) audio signals without distortion
- Sequence a drum pattern with up to 7 drum sounds, connect the audio output of each drum module to an input of MIX7. Connect the output of MIX7 to your sound system. Use individual volume controls on drum modules to set the drums balance.
Mixing Oscillators Waveform
- Connect the waveforms from two Z3000s to the inputs of MIX7. Connect the mix output of MIX7 to your sound system through a Filter like the Z2040. You have just patched the audio part of a monophonic synth patch.
Mixing Control Voltage Sources
- In this example we will need two Z4000 envelopes. Connect the outputs of both to the inputs of MIX7. Connect the mix output of MIX7 to your Frequency Modulation (FM) input of Z2040 filter. Now you can modulate the filter frequency with two envelopes.
Mixing Triggers And Gates
- Connect the trigger outputs from your Circadian Rhythms or Trigger Riot to different inputs on the MIX7, send the MIX OUT to a Tiptop Audio ONE Sample Player, play with the Mute button on the sequencers to add and remove triggers from the mix.
Mixing More Than 7 Channels
- MIX7 is a summing bus that can be expanded by using two or more MIX7 modules to add channels. Connect the output of the first MIX7 to input 1 on the second MIX7. Connect the output of the second MIX7 to your sound system. Now you have patched a 13-channel mixer.
- 3 HP Eurorack format module
- Maximum depth: 1.7" (43mm)
- Includes power ribbon cable with Eurorack power headers
- Power consumption: +12V: 25mA, -12V: 20mA
Designed to help build full a synthesizer voice quickly and easily, the Tiptop Audio Control Path, an all-in-one voice dynamics module with two analog ADSR envelope generators with velocity CV and a single VCA, in Eurorack format.
The left envelope is designed to control a sound modification circuit like a filter, while the right envelope is dedicated to the end-of-the-voice VCA, which controls the volume when a key is pressed on a keyboard or a note is triggered from a sequencer. Front-panel delay trimmers are used to compensate for any mismatch between incoming gate signal and velocity CV timings. The module includes a ribbon power cable.
- All-in-one voice dynamics module
- Two analog envelopes with velocity CV based on the classic OBX design
- One VCA (SSI2164 circuit)
- Left envelope is designed to control a sound modification circuit such as a filter
- Right envelope controls the voice VCA
- Velocity control is provided for each envelope
- Front-panel trimmers are used to compensate any mismatch between incoming gate signal and velocity CV timings

Recreate the sounds of your favorite synths with the black TipTop Audio Z2040, a 24 dB analog low-pass filter that's similar to the one used in the Prophet 5, Emu samplers, and PPG synthesizers. Frequency sweeps make thick bass lines and leads with great dynamics for a lush, big, and creamy signature sound.
When modulated with audio frequencies through its various inputs, the Z2040 gets quite colorful and is capable of creating many new sounds and textures as the forces of the incoming waves and their harmonics blend through the filters nonlinear circuit. When set with resonance feedback fully up, the Z2040 transforms into a pure sine-core VC-Oscillator, great for making snappy percussive elements and whistling sounds. The module ships with a ribbon power cable.
- Discrete design 4-pole low-pass filter
- Similar to the SSM2040 filter chip used in the '80s Prophet 5 Rev 2 synthesizer, and its brother the SSM2044 used in the famous early EMU samplers and PPG synthesizers of the '80s. Both filters are considered by many to be the best sounding filters ever
- Four modulation inputs are built to handle CV and audio signals, enabling deep modulation of the filter core and passing signals
- A voltage-controlled resonance input is provided to modulate and clip the sine wave produced by the filter feedback loop
- Frequency Modulation (FM) input provides dynamic filter sweeps and the unique VC-FM index allows modulation of the incoming FM signals
- Includes audio VCA that can be configured to act upon the input or the output of the filter
- 8 HP Eurorack format module
- Maximum depth: 1.7" (42mm)
