The VZ-DGU Universal Clamp-On Gear Adapter from VariZoom is a clamp-on gear adapter that attaches to the focus ring on the Sony PMW-300, PMW-200, PMW-EX1, and PMW-EX3 cameras. It allows the focus ring to be driven by external gearboxes and motors such as the VariZoom TOC and EFC series. The ring has a gear pitch of 32DP.
