These work well
This WD 1tb SSD will become a third backup while traveling. The first 2 have been flawless. There are faster portable SSD's available but they seem to have heat and diconnection issues, These WD drives are fast enough, don't get hot, don't disconnect, they just work.
Great performer, compact size, not too pricey
From my desktop's SSD to this portable SSD drive (usb3 port), I achieved 221MB/s file copy speed -- a 4.5 gig file copy took about 20s. This drive may not be an overall speed champ, but it is easily the fastest usb drive I have ever owned and used. No-fuss setup is involved, and it certainly won't disappoint. --legacydude

Very slow...doubt its 400 speed...more like 150 ie. a usb key speed...regrets buying
Works Great
This is my first ever external hard drive. It functions fast and properly on my iMAC and MacBook. It's really small compared to what I've seen in the past which makes me nervous about losing it. Otherwise, I don't think you can beat the price.
