The lens also features an all-manual design for direct control over aperture settings and focus, with the ability to work with subjects as close as 11.8" away. Depth of field and distance scales also aid focusing control and the lens incorporates a built-in retractable lens hood to prevent stray light from causing flare.
Prime wide-angle lens is designed for FX-format Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras, however can also be used with DX models where it provides a 52.5mm equivalent focal length.
