Field Optics Research FVH Series Video Head Overview
The Field Optics Research FVH-320 Outdoor Video Head updates the FVH-300 with a new design that is 2 oz lighter, with a stronger rail clamp, and better Arca QR plate accommodation to fit all industry QR plate styles. Unlike most other heads, the QR plates can be introduced from the end or "rolled in" from the side. It has both translating safety retention pin and center slot retention screws slots, and it is an ideal video/optics head for outdoor use.
Weighing only 19.2 oz. with an AL handle and just 3.5" tall, this is the ideal head when stability, weight, and size matter, and it is perfect for high-power spotting scopes and long camera lenses. The very smooth counterweighted motion system creates great video motion and panoramic shots. The comfortably long handle is reversible for both left- and right-hand users. The bubble level in the base assures proper azimuth alignment for video and nightscape panning shots.
