Cambo ACTUS-G-15 Kit Overview

The Cambo Actus G-15 Kit is a special ACTUS wide angle kit based on the ACTUS-G, the new ACTAR-15, and a bayonet set by choice for a mirrorless camera body.

The ACTUS-G is the most universal version of the Actus series with its interchangeable bayonet holder system and all geared movement for tilt, swing, and shifts.

The ACTAR-15 is a new member of the Cambo ACTAR series of lenses and offers a generous image circle of over 65mm while having virtually no distortion. The image circle allows for 12 to 15mm shifts on a 24x36 sensor and even covers the 33x44 sensor with up to 6mm of shift.

This set is optimized for the use with a mirrorless camera body such as Canon-R, Nikon-Z, and Sony A-series, but also supports the use of FUJIFILM'S GFX series and the smaller APS-sensor bodies. A complete set comes enclosed in a custom-made case.

Cambo Actus-G Overview

Offering extensive perspective and focus control along with the convenience of working with your digital camera, the black ACTUS-G View Camera Body from Cambo effectively transforms your digital camera or back into a digital view camera. As the core component within a modular system, this view camera body serves as the primary piece from which you can pair a digital camera body with a variety of lenses to reap the benefits of geared camera movements for correcting perspective distortions, achieving an extended depth of field, or producing creative selective focus effects. While resembling traditional large format view cameras in function, the ACTUS system also echoes the compact form factor of the digital cameras it is designed to be paired with and is optimized for use in both the studio as well as on location.

Actar 15

The ACTAR-15 is a lens with almost no geometrical distortion. As the image circle is over 65mm, there is an optically allowed horizontal shift possible of 15mm each side when using a full frame (24x36) sensor in landscape mode, and 12mm in portrait mode. Use of the ACTAR-15 on the Actus with FUJIFILM GFX 50/100 series is possible up to 6mm of shift.

The optical design of this lens incorporates 17 elements in 11 groups. The aperture range is from f/4.5 to f/22 in half stop increments. Please note that the aperture is manual and there are no electronical connections available nor needed.
