Description
OBSBOT Tiny 4K Overview
The Tiny 4K can capture up to 4K30 or 1080p60 video and connects to a host computer using its USB Type-C to Type-A cable for power and data transfer. Its software control allows you to pan ±150° and tilt ±45°, both with speeds up to 120°/second. The lens can capture a wide 90° angle of view, and it features autofocus, auto-exposure, and auto white balance to ensure your image is always lit well and in focus. The dual omnidirectional microphones pick up your audio from all angles, and they feature noise cancelling to keep the audio crisp and clean. The camera can be mounted onto your laptop, monitor, or table using the included camera mount, and there is also a 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the camera for mounting onto a tripod.

Two is Better Than One
Upfront I will tell you that I also purchased the remote controller which made a big difference using the webcams. But they shouldn't be called webcams. I use them when shooting video for my youtube channel. Using both and the remote is incredible. It feels like you have a studio crew on hand. The tracking is very good and you can hook up both and track using the same remote. Of all the purchases with this I never had a thought about returning it.
Great Mini AI PTZ Webcam!
We are using the OBSBOT Tiny 4K AI PTZ for QVC shows. It works great and doesn't require drivers. Just plug it in, choose it as the source and get to know the simple gestures. I was able to show the salesman how to use the camera in 2-minutes. QVC LOVES the new look too!
Like it don't love it
Was using the Logitech 4k web cam, I forget the model, but it is very popular, but I wanted an upgrade. The Obsbot is for the most part, but I'm not in love with the picture quality, it's nothing compared to using a Sony A6000. I don't use the gesture controls, but I do use the App,... Again it's ok. The App has crashed plenty of times and the controls to adjust the camera are touchy. I will say even after the app crashes the camera still retains the settings and continues to work. Over all it is a step up from the Logitech and is still more reliable than the A6000 and ZV-1 for Zoom's and Skype. if picture quality could be a little better and the app more stable It would be a 5 star rating for sure
Great color, beyond Huddly by far. PTZ is hit or miss...
I replaced a Huddly Go with this webcam and I'm delighted with the results, far better color and detail, ridiculously close to my DSLR. However, there are some cons: 1) Make sure to update your firmware ASAP. Lots of problems with autofocus before the update. 2) Light yourself. The Obsbot only produces superior results if you make some attempt to light yourself. I used a small Godox 30 watt softbox with excellent results with HDR engaged. 3) If you can get the camera to respond to gestures, you are far more talented than I am. It's very hit or miss, but the remote works and the app is easy to hide on a 2nd screen and I use the zoom there when I need it.
