Alpine Astronomical Baader Overview
The Alpine Astronomical Baader Heavy-Duty T-2 Quick Changer System allows you to set up and change your modular T-2 components and gear quickly and easily without having to screw in and unscrew parts and adapter and risk cross-threading. The system comes with the heavy-duty Quick Changer and the Quick Change Ring.
An optional part of the modular Astro T-2 system, the Alpine Astronomical Baader Heavy-Duty T-2 Quick Changer lives up to its name by allowing you to set up and switch equipment without have to screw in or unscrew components. This saves time and avoids possibly cross-threading and ruining your gear. One side has standard T-2 female threads to be compatible with T-2 system components like camera adapters and extension tubes and a Zeiss bayonet for compatible cameras, and a locking ring on the other side that holds your gear firmly and safely in place. This model is made to handle heavier loads than the standard version.
An optional time-saving part of the modular Astro T-2 system, the Alpine Astronomical Baader T-2 Quick Change Ring is the companion piece to their Quick Changer that allows you to set up and switch equipment without having to screw in or unscrew components. This saves time and avoids possibly cross-threading and ruining your gear. One side has standard T-2 male threads to be compatible with T-2 system components like camera adapters and extension tubes and a Zeiss micro bayonet for compatible cameras, and a dovetail on the other end that fits and locks into the Quick Changer. When properly seated into the Quick Changer, a simple thumbscrew locks it securely and firmly in place.
