Ambient Recording NanoLockit Overview
The Ambient NanoLockit Miniature Timecode Synchronizer with Logging Feature is a small and easy-to-use timecode logging system that supports all frame rates of timecode in and out. It can be used to easily mark shots using timecode, speeding up your post-production process. Mark each shot as good or no good, and a green or red LED illuminates to confirm your selection. Generate timecode that stays accurate to within one frame over 24 hours, or use an optional C-Jam master to maintain zero drift over the ACN network.
The NanoLockit supports the ACN (Ambient Communication Network), which has over a 600' wireless range and can support an unlimited number of Ambient ACN-compatible devices to keep all in perfect sync. The generator supports timecode in/out and ACN metadata, and it can also be used as a metadata transceiver for RED cameras. The timecode output level can be adjusted, allowing you to record it on an audio channel on non-timecode-compatible equipment (optional cable required).

Love these things
I have several and work great.
Always work flawless
These simply work. I jam sync the first one to my 633 and simply hold the top button until all of them are flashing in sync. That's it. I'm using a multi cam setup and when it's time for post editing there are no issues syncing the audio to both camera angles. Some of the issues I have heard others say I simply have not had. I have had the first two for 6 years without problems.
Rock solid timecode
I'm so glad that I pulled the trigger on the ambient nanolockits. The sync ability is seamless and makes the post production work effortless.

These little things are rock solid. They have tons of functionality and a small size. The Computer interface is great, I can check battery and jam straight from my MacBook. I will definitely be purchasing more products from Ambient!

These devices have saved countless hours in editing. Whether it be syncing multi-cam shoots instantaneously or matching audio to video from a multi-day documentary shoot where slating each take is impossible, these devices are a life saver.
Definitely an investment in my work flow
I use the Nanolockits to sync multiple BGH1 cameras to the Mixpre. They save a lot of time in post. After each unit is set, I can create multiple set ups and still be in sync. The Nanolockits are extremely helpful and built to last. Highly recommend!!
