Ambient Recording QPSlim-Long QuickPole Overview
Designed for discerning and demanding professional boom operators and location sound recordists, the Ambient Recording QuickPole Series 5 Slim-Long 4-Section Carbon Fiber Boompole offers the ultralight weight of Ambient's QXS poles and the stability of its QP series booms. The Slim edition offers a thinner version of QuickPole Series 5 boompoles sporting 1.2" (30mm) tube diameters. And with only four sections, it is also lighter. The QuickPole Slim-Long extends from 5 to 17'.
The tubes are made from a custom carbon fiber compound with UHM fiber layering, yielding impressive sturdiness. Anti-twist mechanisms of the pole sections use serrations instead of retention pins, making it effortless to disassemble and reassemble your pole for cleaning and maintenance. Additional design enhancements allow the QuickPole Slim-Long to lock and unlock with a mere quarter turn and to quickly extend and collapse.
Thanks to the removable tip and separately available cable sets, the boompole can easily be configured for internal cabling, with no soldering required.

- The lock pieces automatically fall into place when you disassemble and reassemble your pole for cleaning or maintenance, making the process effortless.
