AMPLIFI AFI-INS-R Overview
The AmpliFi Instant Router provides Wi-Fi coverage for standard-sized homes of approximately 2,000 square feet. Use the AmpliFi app to set up the Instant Router quickly.
This router supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). It can reach 300 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band. The router features a 1.21" grayscale touchscreen, a 10/100/1000 Mb/s Gigabit Ethernet jack, a WAN port, and an Ethernet cable. The 1.21" grayscale touchscreen keeps you updated on the download and upload speeds. Stay protected with WPA2-PSK AES or WPA2-PSK TKIP wireless security. To cover more space, you can add Mesh Points (sold separately) to your Instant Router for a whole-home mesh Wi-Fi network.

Outstanding Product!
I bought this to supplement the Amplifi HD I�ve been using as a main router, and I was not disappointed. Setup took less than 5 minutes, and we were up and running! Couldn�t have been easier, and now my upstairs is fully covered. Love it!
Saved our internet
I have 3 of these through out my house. ( 2150 sq. feet) Without them I had glitches, and internet dropping constantly while on the computer. (The internet company said everything was fine on their end, and I already had high speed.) Thank you AMPLIFI !!
Amplifi Instant Router
It works really well and was super easy to set up. I'm getting much faster speeds now and can expand my network if I move.
Easy set up
I already have the HD and wanted wifi in another building that had an ethernet connection. Setup was explained simply for setting up the instant router with ethernet backhaul. Done and working as expected.
