Experience high performance with the TUF Gaming B550-Plus Wi-Fi II AM4 ATX Motherboard from ASUS. Featuring the AMD B550 chipset, this ATX motherboard supports CPUs that are compatible with the AM4 socket. Four RAM slots support up to 128GB of dual-channel memory at speeds up to 4866 MHz when overclocking. Connect storage drives using six SATA III interfaces or two M.2 slots. Graphics cards can be installed using the PCIe 4.0 x16 and PCIe 3.0 x16 slots. Other adapter cards can be installed in three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.
A rear I/O panel sports a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C port, as well as four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports. Connect to a display using either the DisplayPort or HDMI outputs, or connect audio using a S/PDIF port or five 3.5mm jacks. An RJ45 port supports 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and two Wi-Fi connectors enable Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. A BIOS flashback button is also present. The ASUS TUF Gaming B550-Plus Wi-Fi II AM4 ATX Motherboard supports 7.1-channel surround sound via the Realtek SC1200A audio codec and supports the Windows 10 (64-Bit) operating system.

This motherboard is designed with the AMD B550 chipset and is compatible with AMD CPUs using the AM4 socket.

DrMOS
The TUF Gaming B550-Plus Wi-Fi's onboard VRM utilizes 8+2 DrMOS power stages that combine high- and low-side MOSFETs and the driver into a single package, delivering optimum power and efficiency for 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Processors.
Stack Cool 3+
Two-ounce copper layers draw heat away from critical components to keep them at their optimal operating temperatures and provide more headroom to push CPUs beyond stock speeds.
DIGI+ VRM
The Digi+ VRM ensures smooth and clean power delivery to the CPU.
ProCool Socket
ProCool sockets are built to tight specifications to ensure flush contact with PSU power lines. The resulting lower impedance helps to prevent hotspots and connector failure.
Cooling
VRM Heatsink
A large, high-mass heatsink with extensive surface that covers the VRM and choke areas improve heat dissipation.
Thermal Pads
High-quality thermal pads help transfer heat from the inductor and phase array heatsink.
M.2 Heatsink
The M.2 heatsink keeps the M.2 SSD at the optimum operating temperature for consistent performance and reliability.
Fan Control
This motherboard features comprehensive fan controls that can be configured via the Fan Xpert 2+ utility or via the ASUS UEFI BIOS.
Multiple Temperature Sources
Each header can be set to monitor and react to three user-configurable thermal sensors for workload-based cooling, and all settings can be easily managed by Fan Xpert 4 or via the UEFI.
AiO Water Cooling Support
An integrated AiO system enables full control of PWM or DC water pumps, making it perfect for custom or self-contained cooling setups.
Auto-Detecting 4-Pin Fan Connectors
All onboard chassis fan headers support auto-detecting of PWM or DC fans.

PCIe 4.0 M.2
This motherboard provides a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot and NVMe SSD RAID support for boosted performance with speeds up to 64 GB/s.
Connectivity
USB 3.2 Gen 2
Doubling the speed of its predecessor, USB 3.2 Gen 2 features a maximum throughput of 10 Gb/s when used with compatible devices and is synonymous with USB 3.1 Gen 2.
Thunderbolt 3 Support
An integrated Thunderbolt 3 header supports up to 40 Gb/s of aggregate interface bandwidth. One Thunderbolt 3 port can support up to six devices in a daisy-chain and provide up to 15 watts of power to fast-charge devices.
TUF Protection
SafeSlot
The ASUS SafeSlot provides superior retention and shearing resistance. Manufactured via an insert-molding process, SafeSlot integrates fortifying metal for an inherently stronger slot, which is then firmly anchored to the PCB through additional solder points.
ESD Guards
ESD Guards prolong the life of components, while preventing damage from electrostatic discharge. Providing protection for up to +/- 10kV of air discharge and +/- 6kV of contact discharge, the protection surpasses the respective industry standards of +/- 6kV and +/- 4kV.
TUF LANGuard
TUF LANGuard uses signal-coupling technology and premium surface-mounted capacitors to improve throughput, protecting the motherboard from lightning strikes and static electricity.
DRAM Overvoltage Protection
Onboard resettable fuses prevent overcurrent and short-circuit damage. This extends beyond I/O ports to DRAM to safeguard the lifespan of your system and connected devices.
Stainless-Steel Back I/O Panel
TUF Gaming motherboards have a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel back I/O panel bonded with chromium oxide to provide a 3X-longer lifespan versus traditional panels. With this protective feature, TUF Gaming motherboards passed 72-hour salt fog testing.

Wi-Fi 6
The Wi-Fi 6 module is compatible with the 802.11ax standard and pushes theoretical peak bandwidth up to an incredible 2.4 Gb/s. Perhaps more importantly for power users, it's optimized for more efficient operation on crowded networks with a lot of competing traffic.
AI Noise-Canceling Microphone
AI Noise-Canceling Microphone software is exclusively featured on ASUS motherboards and supports 3.5mm, USB, or Bluetooth headsets. This utility uses a deep-learning database to preserve the sound of your voice while eliminating distracting keyboard clatter, mouse clicks, and other forms of environmental noise. And it only places a slight load on the CPU, ensuring minimal impact on gaming performance.

Effective shielding against electromagnetic interference preservers the integrity of audio signals for uncompromised sound quality.
Audio-Line Shielding
The shielding blocks electromagnetic interference by separating digital and analog audio.
Signal-to-Noise Ratio
The unique audio codec designed in close collaboration with the Realtek for the TUF Gaming B550 series motherboards features a 108dB signal-to-noise ratio or SNR for the stereo line out and a 103dB SNR for the line in, providing accurate audio.

Addressable Gen 2 RGB Header
The addressable Gen 2 RGB header is now capable of detecting the number of LEDs on second-gen addressable RGB devices, allowing the software to automatically tailor lighting effects to specific compatible devices. This header also offers backward-compatibility with existing Aura RGB gear.
