Suitable for 4K editing, enthusiasts, and content creation, the Flashstor 12 Gen2 12-Bay NAS Enclosure from Asustor delivers exceptional processing, efficiency, and high-speed I/O connectivity, ensuring efficient operations and enabling fast data transfers and high-speed computing. Powered by a 2.3 GHz AMD Ryzen V3C14 Quad-Core processor, the Flashstor 12 is driven by 16GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 memory that can be upgraded to 64GB. It also features dual 10GbE RJ45 ports and supports JBOD and a variety of RAID modes, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and hot spare, each of which offer data redundancy, speed, or a combination of both.
This 12-bay enclosure has the ability to natively house twelve M.2 2280 SSDs with an NVMe interface, with one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, three PCIe 4.0 x2 slots, four PCIe 4.0 x1 slots, one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, one PCIe 4.0 x2 slot, and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. Using the two 40 Gb/s USB4 ports and three 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, this NAS can connect to a wide range of external peripherals, including NAS expansion units.
The Flashstor 6 Gen2 6-Bay NAS Enclosure operates on 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz using a 90W power supply and stays cool using an 80mm fan. It includes a 10GbE Cat 6 LAN cable, a power cord, an AC adapter, and a power cord tie. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
