Asustor FS6806X Overview
The Flashstor 6 Gen2 6-Bay NAS Enclosure from Asustor delivers exceptional processing, efficiency, and high-speed I/O connectivity, ensuring efficient operations and enabling fast data transfers and high-speed computing. Powered by a 2.3 GHz AMD Ryzen V3C14 Quad-Core processor, the Flashstor 6 is driven by 8GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 memory that can be upgraded to 64GB. It also features a 10GbE RJ45 port and supports JBOD and a variety of RAID modes, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and hot spare, each of which offer data redundancy, speed, or a combination of both.
This 6-bay enclosure has the ability to natively house six M.2 2280 SSDs with an NVMe interface, with one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, three PCIe 4.0 x2 slots, and two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots. Using the two 40 Gb/s USB4 ports and three 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, this NAS can connect to a wide range of external peripherals, including NAS expansion units.
The Flashstor 6 Gen2 6-Bay NAS Enclosure operates on 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz using a 90W power supply and stays cool using an 80mm fan. It includes a 10GbE Cat 6 LAN cable, a power cord, an AC adapter, and a power cord tie. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
