Auratone 5C Super Sound Cubes Active Overview
Styled in a black finish, this pair of Auratone 5C Active Super Sound Cube Studio Monitors is based upon the original 5C Super Sound Cube, and features a remanufactured version of its original driver and a built-in 50W 8-ohm amplifier. The 5C, which became popular with mix engineers in the 1970s and '80s, was used as a real-world-speaker reference in the recording studio.
This active version of the 5C incorporates the same amp design from the A2-30 amp without making the cabinet any larger yet preserving the sonic characteristics that have made the 5C so trusted with industry professionals. Built with a durable cabinet and a 4.5" full-range driver, the 5C Active Super Sound Cube is an ideal reference monitor to use to ensure your mix translates to typical consumer speakers.
