Designed to keep your workspace organized and uncluttered while offering a convenient way to keep your headphones handy, the Auray COHH-FD1 Clamp-On Folding Headphone Holder is a studio accessory that can be discreetly clamped underneath a surface like a desktop or shelf to support a pair of full-size headphones. This versatile headphone holder can be mounted to any horizontal or vertical surface up to 2" thick. The holder arm flips down to support headphones and flips up to keep it neatly out of the way until you need it again.
The COHH-FD1's sturdy aluminum construction holds up to 17 lb, so it's also suitable for hanging anything you don't want to leave on the floor like backpacks, handbags, or umbrellas. The arched cradle with padding ensures your headphone's leather headband isn't scratched or damaged, while the holder's raised lip helps prevent your headphones from slipping off the arm. To further reduce desktop clutter, the holder features two slots to hang earbuds or charging cables. The C-clamp is equipped with rubber pads on both surfaces to provide a firm grip and avoid damaging your desk's finish.

Does the job!
Not a ton going on here, but it clamps to the desktop nicely and (generally) stays in place. Also, it looks nice and is cushy on your headphones. The only thing to note that may not be clear to those ordering online is you have three slots available that open the clamp up for thicker desktops which you can then tighten with the knob. It's not immediately intuitive how to get it to the wider slots. That said, although it's just plastic, the snaps all feel solid.
Fantastic, versatile folding headphone holder
I'm super impressed with this versatile little headphone holder. The build quality is fantastic. Made of aluminum making it sturdy and strong, and well-engineered and designed. Very easy to attach with the clamp. And having rubber pad cushions on the clamp is fantastic, as it allows you to attach it firmly to the desk, while still preventing any damage or scratches. And this sucker comes with some cool features. Although I'm attaching to the desktop with the clamp in a vertical position, it comes with 2 more small hex screws and a hex tool, so you can configure the clamp to attach horizontally to the side of the desk (which I might eventually try out to see if I like it that way better). I also love that you can fold it up and out of the way if not being used. That was a smart feature. Having the 2 notches in the holder is cool too in case you are using wired earbuds or want to make sure the plug to the headphones stays off the ground and out of the way. Again, Auray thought of a bunch of features to this clamp, and I appreciate all of them. This clamp is working great for me. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

This unit is 100% metal, comes with a Hex wrench and an extra set of two replacement hex screws. This review includes pictures. Make sure you check them out. When you want to flip it up to close when not using it, it has a rubber line on the latch that allows a very smooth closing. Everything is very well crafted and the price is great. This item can accommodate various table thickness. Both ends that make contact with the surface features a rubber material so nothing will slip or cause scratches. Plus, this is a headphone mount, which weighs nothing. No need to over tighten. The main feature I absolutely LOVE about this item is that it can rotate to 90 degrees to mount it on light stands, C-Stands, anything of a tube shape, simply unscrew the plate and rotate 90 degrees... Done. I'm primarily using this item for my speaker stand only, for my recording studio. This item is also great for mounting on desks for gamers, photo video editors etc. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]
