Safeguard electronics within your home ecosystem using the Austere VII Series 4-Outlet Surge Protector, which features up to 3500 joules of surge suppression. Also featured are four NEMA 5-15R outlets, a NEMA 5-15P wall plug, an electrical rating of 120 VAC at 60 Hz, a max current of 15A, and a max load of 1800W. For charging smartphones and other compatible devices, there is one USB-C port with 45W of Power Delivery, a second USB-C port with 20W of Power Delivery, and one USB-A port with 2.4A. Austere's Type III Filtration helps minimize the effects of electrical line noise, while individual LED lights signal that the unit has power, is plugged into a properly grounded circuit, and its surge suppression components are functional. If the Austere VII is responsible for any damage to a plugged in device, Austere will replace it for up to six years, while the main unit is protected by a limited lifetime warranty.

Surge protectors can wear out over time. Joules, the protective layer of energy that defends your components, are finite. Each time your household is hit with small electrical spikes, your surge protector sacrifices joules to protect the connected components. EMI, or Electromagnetic Interference, occurs when devices are near one another. Frequent exposure to EMI disturbances will harm your premium electronics and impede performance, especially TVs and audio equipment. The Austere VII Series features PureFiltration Type III: Premium EMI/RFI Outlet Isolation and filtration for the ultimate home theater, gaming, and home office setup. It will also isolate the potential noise disturbances between outlets so audio devices will not impact your video picture quality.
Fire & Power Spike Safety
Austere surge protection regulates the power coming from the outside powerline to ensure devices do not burn out from a high voltage spike that can be harmful to your equipment. Flameless MOV Protection gives you peace of mind that powerful surges will not result in a dangerous fire. Over-Current Protection ensures that the thermal protected power circuit cannot exceed 15A, which could cause devices to short circuit or create dangerous temperatures that may lead to a fire.
Rapid Charge
There are three OmniPort USB rapid charging ports: one USB-C with 45W of Power delivery, a second USB-C with 20W of Power Delivery, and one USB-A with 2.4A of dedicated charging power, while also protecting your low-voltage devices. If both USB-C ports are used the 45W are shared between the two. Power Delivery (PD) is the quickest, most efficient way to charge a compatible device. Unlike other power charging options, PD can charge a smartphone at up to 20V for the fastest possible charge. Austere's smart ports are designed to minimize charging time for your electronics such as cellphones and any handheld device that charges via USB.
Design Philosophy
The Austere VII Series delivers superior protection in a compact enclosure with a linear pattern finish and polished metalized side panels with blue trim. The ultra-wide SmartFit outlets provide extra room to accommodate the bulkiest plugs. Austere Power sits flush with the wall and fits discreetly in the tightest of spaces near furniture or behind a wall-mounted TV. The wall-mountable design allows Austere Power to be attached to the outlet and comes with an optional security screw.
