Darkglass Electronics DAAO Overview
Offering two distinct distortion circuits and a fully analog, solid-state op-amp-based design, the Alpha·Omega Distortion Pedal from Darkglass Electronics is the beginning and end of your tone, allowing for tight punch (Alpha), raw growl (Omega), or anything inbetween. With 3-band EQ and separate Level and Drive controls, your tonal options are wide.
The Blend knob lets you mix the wet and dry signals at unity gain, allowing you to combine it with the Level control for fine tuning. The Mod knob mixes the two distortion circuits together, enabling you to use either or both in any way you see fit. Along with the 3-band EQ, you can engage the Bite switch for a high-mid presence boost or the Growl switch for a shelving bass boost that fattens your tone. And with several output options, this pedal fits nicely into any pedalboard, studio set up, or stage configuration.
