Get the best of both worlds with Hyper Luminal from Darkglass Electronics, an innovative pedal that offers a true analog VCA controlled by a digital side-chain, giving you access to legendary compression characters while retaining a 100% analog signal path. With three variable compression characters (BUS, FET, and SYM), you have a range of tonal possibilities before you.
Versatile touch controls include Ratio for selecting the compression ratio, and Compression for setting the overall amount of compression (with internal makeup gain). Output sets the overall output volume of the pedal. With Time, you can set the attack and release time constants, which can be further customized per mode, along with several other parameters in the Darkglass Suite app. And finally, Blend provides a wet/dry mix, allowing for parallel compression, and thanks to its placement before the output control, a transparent clean boost.
