Dracast LED500 Pro Daylight Overview
At 4 lb the LED500 Pro Daylight LED Light with Gold Mount Battery Plate from Dracast is an ideal choice for the studio or location work where color accuracy, control and flicker-free output are of major importance. The LED500's daylight balanced output is well suited for outdoor work or color matching HMI fixtures, while its high CRI of 95 renders colors with precision and fidelity. Dimming from 100-0% is conveniently done with a back-panel knob that adjusts the output with negligible color shift. The low electrical draw of just 30W means a timely return on your investment.
The durable anodized aluminum frame is supported by an sturdy, U-shaped yoke with locking knobs on each side and a standard 5/8" receiver. This LED500 can be used worldwide thanks to its included 100-240 VAC power adapter. You can also use the onboard Gold Mount battery plate with 14.8 VDC batteries when mains power is unavailable. Accessories include optional 4-way barndoors for contouring and control of the LED500's 45-degree beam angle. A carrying case is included.

Great Light
Very happy with it.
Great Daylight LED
Exactly as said in the description. This is only a 5200k LED with a brightness knob. Works great as a key light with a bounce to soften and spread the light evenly on your subject. It doesn�t reach far as I was hoping, but creates beautiful images, especially for interview style videos.
Oh, man, what a nice light!
When I pulled this one out of the box, the kids were excited! And then I completely blinded them... in multiple temperature bandwidths! This one is nice!
Great lights, carry bag okay
I bought two of these lights and so far theyre great. They feel solid and from my experience the color temperature on them is identical. The carry bag they come with is not good however, my zippers are breaking after just a few uses and the pull ran for one of the zippers broke off the first time I pulled it. I would still purchase these again
Nice light, but battery accessories are pricey!
Portable, even lighting. But only comes with a battery *plate*, not a battery (which is commonly provided with other small lights). Runs off AC as shipped. Be prepared to pay a *lot* for battery and charger.
Inconsistent Color Temp But Great For The Price
I own 3 daylight units. Each of them ranges from 5150-5350K. None are 5600K. All have the same slight green tint, which doesn't really have to be corrected (a 1/8th minus green was too magenta).
lots a light nice n easy
My headline pretty much says it. Easy travelling with the dracast bag the light comes with, easy set up and lots of light.
Appalling design
The adjustment knobs have huge serrated teeth that require about 5 complete turns to adjust the light. I have never come across something so badly designed in 40 years of being a DP.
