ELAC Adsum Debut ConneX DCB41-DS 2-Way Active Bookshelf Speakers (Pair)

In collaboration with the Brooklyn-based clothier Adsum, the sleek, contemporary styling of the Debut ConneX DCB41-DS 2-Way Active Bookshelf Speakers from ELAC are made to fit into most any home's decor. The pair of bookshelf speakers are versatile, offering four different input types that cover a wide array of home audio devices, making them an ideal soundbar alternative. HDMI ARC or optical audio inputs can be used for TV or gaming, USB Type-B offers PC and DJ compatibility, and RCA lets you connect a turntable or other component. Wireless playback via Bluetooth with aptX is also featured for CD-quality music from a mobile device. Overall, they output at 100W with deep, resonating bass from a 5.9" rear-firing bass reflex port, with the option of XBass boosting, or you can add an (optional) external subwoofer

ELAC combines their acoustic know-how with the acute design sensibilities of Adsum, a Brooklyn-based clothier that gives the Debut ConneX a sleek and contemporary look. A touch of modern styling is mixed in with the included stands; rounded tubular art pieces in chromed silver that provide sturdy elevation for more directed sound projection.

The back panel of the Debut ConnecX's active speaker is packed with connection options, and a convenient left/right switch. The switch lets you select whether the speaker will be your left or right channel. As the active speaker is where you plug in the power cord, this allows the Debut ConnecX to live in almost any location in your home.

In addition to the RCA input for a turntable or other compatible device, the active speaker offers a selectable built-in phono preamp and ground screw. So, you can connect any turntable to the RCA inputs, choosing to having the ConneX or the record player handle the preamp duties.
