The Nano Deluxe Memory Man Analog Delay/Chorus/Vibrato Pedal by Electro-Harmonix is the compact follow-up to the classic Deluxe Memory Man, which has served as a gold-standard analog delay for over 44 years. Featuring the original's quality bucket-brigade-delay circuit, along with a host of new features for modern players, the Nano Deluxe Memory Man is both compact and powerful. Dedicated rate and depth knobs provide the ability to dial in a number of modulation effects ranging from chorus and vibrato to epic tape-style delay, while the blend and level knobs let you find the perfect wet/dry mix and ideal volume balance between effect and bypass.
The Nano's small form factor is both rugged and convenient, allowing it to fit perfectly onto pedalboards, while the universal 9 VDC jack can be used with the included power supply or most pedalboard PSUs. Even the original Deluxe Memory Man true-bypass circuit has been improved with the option to toggle a tails switch that permits delay echoes already in the block to continue to ring out while keeping any new echoes out. Reliable, flexible, and featuring a famously warm and lush delay tone, the Nano Deluxe Memory Man is a great effect pedal for experimenting with your own sound, or simply adding a three-in-one modulation pedal to your signal chain when space is at a premium.
The Nano Deluxe Memory Man contains all the great features from EHX's original as well as some welcome updates such as a dedicated rate knob to go with the original depth knob.
New to the Nano Deluxe Memory Man is an internal switch inside the pedal, which allows the user to flip between a true bypass circuit and a buffered bypass called Tails. The true bypass immediately disengages the delay effect, whereas Tails allows any delay echoes that are present upon entering bypass to continue ringing out while preventing new audio from entering the delay block.
The Nano Deluxe Memory Man improves upon the classic Deluxe Memory Man with a smaller, more portable design that fits perfectly onto a pedalboard, taking up as little real estate as possible. Despite this, no level of control is sacrificed and the Nano Deluxe Memory Man still maintains Electro-Harmonix's signature rugged build quality.
The Nano Deluxe Memory Man features a quality high-impedance input circuit to preserve your guitar tone and ensure reliable musical performance. A bright overload LED lets you know when your signal is too hot and begins to clip.
Lush and Warm Modulation at Your Fingertips
The Nano Deluxe Memory Man comes with all the famously pristine and warm tones that came with the original, but in a considerably more compact package. A real self-oscillating analog BBD/delay block with controls for blend (wet/dry), feedback, delay (30 to 550 ms), input gain, rate, and depth, allow everything from short reverb effects, chorus, and vibrato, to massive, epic analog delay on par with tape delays.
