Empress Effects BPLS Overview
Improve the signal integrity and efficiency of your pedalboard with Buffer+ from Empress Effects, an all-analog I/O interface pedal that helps eliminate signal loss from long cable runs or unbuffered bypassing. Loaded with useful functions like an input pad, 30 dB clean boost, and 2-way noise filter, Buffer+ maintains perfect tone.
I/O features include a dedicated tuner output with individual mute function and a serial FX loop. With the input-load adjustment, you can set your input impedance from 10 kilohms to 1 megohm depending on your pickup configuration. Constructed from die-cast aluminum, this rugged pedal can survive years of touring while maintaining a compact form factor that keeps your precious pedalboard real estate available.
Turn the knob counterclockwise to start loading down your guitar, changing the response of your pickups, and rolling off just the right amount of high frequencies.
When nothing is connected to the Loop In jack, the input signal will also be routed to the Amp Out jack. This could be used to run multiple amps, or to record a separate dry signal to use for reamping when tracking.
