Erica Synths Cymbals Overview
Modular synthesizer enthusiasts looking to add some a variety of cymbal sounds to their setup will be impressed with the erica synths Cymbals, a hybrid digital/analog Eurorack module where cymbal samples are passed through an AS3330-based VCA and controlled via envelope generators of unique design.
The module features 10 sets of custom Crash and Ride cymbal samples with a Tune control and individual Decay control. Accent and CV control over Tone and Decay allow you to create lot of variations in each cymbal. A sample looping circuit loops a certain part of the sample, while the envelope decay is on, thus creating a distinct, delay-like effect. Cymbal samples are developed by producer and musician Nero Bellum. The module includes a power ribbon cable and a set of mounting screws.
