Evolis Easy4Pro Overview
The Evolis EASY4PRO 1/2 YMCKO Color Ribbon is a half-panel color ribbon for ID cards that feature a color ID photo and some black resin printings (for text, logo, or barcode). It prints color on one side, generally the ID photo. This ribbon has the same specifications as a standard full panel YMCKO color ribbon, but the yellow, magenta, and cyan panels are half the length. While the length of the black (K) and overlay (O) panels is 3.86" each, the length of the Y, M, and C panels is 1.93" each. The advantage is a savings in cost per printed card when you personalize just a part of a card in color.
The EASY4PRO line entails the removal of ribbon cassettes. EASY4PRO ribbons are designed for card printing professionals with high ribbon consumption and who require compact consumables with a small packaging footprint. Downsized to minimum dimensions, EASY4PRO ribbons feature optimized soft packaging. This helps reduce shipping and storage cost for large-volume users. It also helps to reduce plastic consumption and waste, as there's no cassette. EASY4PRO ribbons offer the same high level of quality as the standard Primacy consumable range and produce sharp, bright images and clear text.
