HighPoint SSD7749M2 Overview
Enhance the performance and capacity of your workstation with the SSD7749M2 8-Port M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x16 RAID Card from HighPoint. With the included dual loading trays, you can fit up to two separately purchased single-sided M.2 2242, 2260, or 2280 NVMe SSDs into each of the eight PCIe 4.0 x4 slots for a total of 16 drives. Each operates independently in PCIe 4.0 x2 mode, allowing you to reach up 28 GB/s transfer speeds through a single PCIe 4.0 x16 expansion slot.
Configure the SSDs for RAID 0, 1, 10 or Single modes to balance between performance and data redundancy. Comprised of an anodized aluminum heat sink and a cooling fan, the dual-width cooling helps to avoid speed throttling during sustained workloads. The SSD7749M2 is designed to work with Windows, Linux, and Windows Server based computers.
