Holga 120N Overview
One of the most iconic toy cameras available, the Holga 120N is characterized by the unique image quality it is able to produce, along with its modest design and minimal controls. Featured here with a black finish, the Holga is best known for its standard-length 60mm f/8 plastic lens that produces a soft, dream-like aesthetic, which is further accentuated by the inherent vignetting and light leaks caused by the plastic body and simple construction. A choice between f/8 or f/11, or "cloudy" and "sunny", aperture settings is available, along with 1/100 sec. or bulb shutter speed settings and a zone focus system for focusing as close as 3' away. A tripod mount is incorporated into the base of the camera for stable long exposure shooting and a top hot shoe accepts optional electronic flashes. A camera designed to bring the fun back to photography, the Holga is a classic toy camera capable of making some remarkable, yet inherently lo-fi photographs.
The 120N model accepts 120-format roll film and includes both 6 x 4.5cm and 6 x 6cm inserts to record 16 or 12 exposures per roll, respectively. Film is manually advanced between shots using the top winding knob, with the frame progression checked using the rear red window.

Holga 120N Reviews
Thank you for bringing back Holga
There were several years when a Holga camera could not be bought. Thank goodness those days are over!! The Holga isn't for everybody but if you want affordable medium format and every picture unique, get you one! Or two!
Missing battery
I bought this camera a couple of months ago and i was so excited to use it but immediately had a hard time with finding the battery compartment. I didn't think anything of it and just kept it for a day I can mess with it again. Today I check online to try to see where the battery compartment is because it was impossible to find even though I really shouldn't have a hard time finding it. I went on YouTube searching how to add the batteries since I thought maybe others had a hard time finding the compartment too and realized that my camera is missing the battery compartment and now I can't get a refund because it's been so long since I purchased it. I don't want to give a one star review but I mean a missing battery compartment?
Fun!
Fun to use! Unpredictable! Not a lot of thinking involved! Quit being so serious, get one of these.
Favorite plastic camera
I lost mine I had for a few years, and this was exactly like the one I had! I was worried it would be one of the by sunrise newer models that havent received good reviews.
I have 6 Holgas!
I have 6 various styles (3 exactly like this and a few others w/ diff types of flash). I take these everywhere... for personal work, portraits, weddings, etc. I tend to use the fastest film in here. I prefer the look of Kodak portra 800 and pushed 400 B+W film. Now grab one and take with you wherever you go. Don't think, just shoot!
Enjoy this toy camera
Nice to shoot without all the electronics. Cant wait to shoot another roll.
A blast
Using this camera has been an absolute blast! there's nothing more charming than using a film camera and seeing your photos come to life! This camera makes beautiful shots and it doesn't get more simple than using this, and especially for the price range. Ive been recommending this to everyone who wants to do film photography. My only warning is to be aware that this is a 100% plastic toy camera. Your camera settings are extremely limited so it will be tricky to get a good shot, and you will have no way to no until you develop. also beware that this a a 100 percent fully manual camera, you will have to do everything with guess work and remember to advance your film as you shoot. Have fun!
love it!!
such a fun camera- I had one when I was younger and it brings back so many nostalgic memories!
