The IDX IA-70a Single Channel DC Power Supply is a 70W AC power supply offering a 4-pin XLR output suitable for use with ENG cameras. It features a rugged yet lightweight metal housing with plenty of ventilation slots, and an integrated carry handle. The power supply outputs a nominal 14.5 VDC, however the output range is adjustable from 14.3 to 15.8 volts, and it supports a 70-watt draw.
The power supply features built-in overload protection that causes the unit to shut itself down in the event of a current overdraw. The IA-70a will also automatically recover after a current overdraw. Although powerful, the unit produces "low ripple noise", allowing you to use it without interfering with nearby electronic devices. It features a metal chassis with ventilation slots, and on/off switch, 4-pin XLR port, and an integrated carry handle. The IA-70a supports worldwide power, so you can take it with you almost anywhere.
