Impact Octa Soft and Natural Creator Kit

The Octa Soft and Natural Creator Kit was put together by B&H to enhance a mini-studio of lighting equipment with the creative potential available with chroma key technology. The kit includes two 4-socket fluorescent fixtures, eight daylight-balanced spiral fluorescent lamps, two 24" Octa softboxes with 8' air-cushioned light stands and a Savage Photo Creater Kit with a 5x7' green screen, chroma key software and 720 digital backgrounds.

The Octa 4-Socket Fluorescent Fixture from Impact is a four Edison socket base that accepts CFL fluorescent bulbs up to 85W. The back panel features dual rocker switches, each of which control on/off function for two lights allowing the creation of a light ratio. The fixture has a multi-voltage power supply for worldwide use (with addition of optional adapter plug) and has a standard 5/8" receiver for light stands and accessories. The matching Octa Softbox features a highly reflective, pebbled interior and a removable front face that attaches with simple touch-fasteners. In use, it renders the signature wrap-around look that it's well known for, as well as natural circular catch-lights in your subject's eyes. The softboxes are supported by Impact 8' stands that gently lower the lights during height adjustments thanks to their air-cushioning.

Using green screen technology, and the included software, the Savage Photo Creator Kit permits you to take a simple photograph against the included green screen cloth and simply drop in a distant locale or landmark that places your subject far from where you took the photo without ever boarding a plane.

  The FF-0F4 Octa 4-Socket Fluorescent Fixture from Impact is a four Edison socket base that accepts CFL fluorescents up to 85W. Individual socket rating is 105 watts. The back panel has dual rocker switches, each of which control on/off function for two lights allowing the creation of a light ratio. The FF-0F4 has a multi-voltage power supply for worldwide use (with addition of optional adapter plug) and has a standard 5/8" receiver for light stands and accessories. The FF-0F4 is meant for use with the Impact FF-OSB60 24" Octa Softbox which is purchased separately, or with a standard photo umbrella that fits through the fixture's umbrella receptacle.

  The 24" FF-OSB60 Octa Softbox from Impact is an 8-sided light modifier supported by 8 flexrods which are attached to the separately purchased FF-OF4 4-socket fixture.

  The Octa features a highly reflective pebbled interior and a removable front face that attaches with simple touch-fasteners. In use, it renders the signature wrap-around look that it's well known for, as well as natural circular catch-lights in your subjects eyes. This 24" Octa is made to be used with the FF-OF4 fixture and fluorescent lamps only.

• 2 x Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand (Black, 8')

  This aluminum Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand rises to a height of 8' and folds down to 29.6". The stand has sure-twist section locks and 4 sections and will support up to 8 lb.

  If you forget to tighten any section with your light mounted, the light slowly descends, thanks to the air-cushioned action. This useful feature saves equipment and fingers from harm during busy photo sessions.

  The Eiko SP27/50K Spiral Fluorescent lamp (26/120V) is an Edison base (E26) screw-in bulb, for the SP Systems Cool Light, Interfit, Impact, Bowens Tri-Lite, or any other floodlight fixture that can accept a large bulb.   The Photo Creator Kit - Digital Photography Kit from Savage is an easy to use and fun way to make some exciting images that would normally not be possible.   How it Works

  Hang the green screen cloth, load the Green Screen Wizard Lite software on your PC or Mac compatible computer

  Take the photo, navigate to the "Load Foreground" link

  Select the background you want, drop it in and you're done
