This 77mm Premium Magnetic 4 Filter Kit from Kase combines four popular and versatile filters in a convenient kit, ideal for landscape and other photographic applications. The kit includes a protective UV filter, two neutral density filters, a circular polarizer, along with a magnetic adapter ring and a protective stack cap set. The filters are made of premium, shock-proof optical glass, and up to four magnetic filters may be stacked at a time. The set comes in a convenient leatherette carrying case for storage and transport.
Multicoated UV Filter
The protective UV filter reduces haze when shooting landscapes, and the multicoated surfaced reduce potential lens flare and ghosting.
ND8 and ND64 Neutral Density Filters
The ND8 filter reduces exposure by 3 stops, the ND64 filter reduces exposure by 6 stops, and the two can be used together to reduce exposure by 9 stops. Reducing exposure allows a wider aperture to be used to increase bokeh to help isolate the subject of an image, or to lengthen exposure time for increased image blur and an enhanced sense of movement.
Circular Polarizer
A circular polarizer can be freely rotated to control and minimize reflection and glare from reflective surfaces, or to increase the saturation of a blue sky for more a dramatic look.
Magnetic Adapter Ring
The magnetic adapter ring allows the filters to be installed on a lens with a 77mm filter thread in just seconds. Up to four magnetic filters may be stacked on the ring at a time.
Stack Cap Set
The protective stack caps magnetically attach to the filters when not in use, protecting both the front and rear surfaces from dust, fingerprints and grime.
