Kolari Vision IR Chrome Lite Overview
The Cine IR Chrome Filter from Kolari Vision is a 4 x 5.65" filter for compatible matte boxes. It works with full-spectrum modified cameras to replicate Kodak Aerochrome IR film. It turns trees, leaves, and other foliage red while keeping the sky blue. You can achieve the Aerochrome look without any editing or quality loss. The filter features glass optics with anti-reflective coating for increased light transmission and reduced flare and ghosting.
A full spectrum modification is required to be made to your camera. This entails manually removing the camera's low-pass filter and replacing it with a clear filter. Once that's done, this filter will work as intended. (Kolari Vision can make the modification for you at a cost if you send in your camera to them.)
