The Lowel Rifa LED Upgrade 80W Bulb with Wired Remote breathes new life into legacy Rifa 55/66/88 tungsten fixtures by upgrading them to the latest in LED technology. It includes an 80W bulb with a wired controller for adjusting brightness and color temperature, plus a respective-size artificial silk diffuser. The upgrade can be done in seconds as the bulb directly attaches to the Rifa twist and lock socket, and the artificial silk diffuser attaches to the existing softbox mounting points. No additional power supplies or adapters are required. Once complete, the bulb and diffuser produce a soft illumination comparable to a traditional 500W tungsten bulb with 3300 lux at 3' and a high color rendition. It also offers the added benefits of adjustable color temperature daylight and built-in dimming through a small, wired controller that extends out the back of the softbox.
