Add multidimensional audio to your computer gameplay and TV viewing with the Panasonic SC-HTB01PP Sound Slayer 80W Stereo Soundbar. It uses Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and DTS Virtual:X technologies to create a three-dimensional soundstage from its 3.1" woofer, two 1.57" full-range drivers, and two 0.55" tweeters. It outputs up to 80W and has a passive bass radiator to enhance low-frequency effects. The soundbar supports the pass-through of HDR 4K UHD video to preserve video quality as the signal passes through the soundbar via HDMI. The HDMI output supports ARC, so display-based audio, such as from built-in apps, will pass back to the soundbar for playback.
This audio format adds location and object information to sounds, allowing the soundbar to express every sound in the original cinema mix as an audio object that can be positioned and moved around. It can play back up to 128 independent audio objects in the mix simultaneously for enhanced clarity, richness, detail, and depth.
DTS:X is an object-based audio decoding format that adds spatial and temporal metadata to sounds to produce three-dimensional sound capable of positioning audio objects in space and moving them around freely. Sounds can be precisely positioned to create a natural and realistic sound field without being limited by the number of speaker channels.
High-Resolution Audio Playback
By connecting to a compatible device with an HDMI cable, high-resolution audio can be accurately reproduced. If you connect a Blu-ray player with a compatible USB port, Hi-Res Audio from your NAS or USB hard drive can be played back thanks to the onboard fully digital LincsD Amp.
Enjoy HDR 4K UHD video without loss in image quality when you connect your source to the soundbar via HDMI, then to your monitor or TV via HDMI.
- Passive radiator helps enhance the bass while suppressing the vibration of the soundbar to provide rich sounds with reduced distortion and noise
- The upward-firing subwoofer outputs through the front-facing slit and helps provide deep bass
- The tweeter can reach frequencies up to 50 kHz for detailed high-frequency expression
- The full-range driver uses a neodymium magnet for clear, powerful midrange playback with a clarity and response designed to exceed its size
- Polymer multi-layer capacitors are used in the digital amp for clear, dynamic sound reproduction
- AC adapter designed for reduced noise for overall enhanced sound clarity
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Three game modes
- Compact design
- Suitable for use in computer gaming or as a TV soundbar
