Polaroid Color SX-70 Overview
This pack of Color SX-70 Instant Film from Polaroid contains eight sheets of film for use with Polaroid SX-70-series cameras. Producing richly textured and strong, vibrant colors, this ISO 160 film offers a classic instant film look with its glossy 3.1 x 3.1" image area and traditional white borders. Each shot develops in 10-15 minutes after exposure, and the film should be stored in a cool, refrigerated, but not frozen, place before use.

My old but still quite mint SLR 680 (this review is for the 600 film, bought the SX-70 by mistake) had a difficult time powering up - seemed frozen. Disengaging auto focus may have done the trick, or switching flash setting on and off. Along the way tried to get help from Polaroid and it took three tries to get them from sending pre-written and useless responses before getting 'Jeff' to prove he was a real person. Picture quality was much better on available light inside, and focus was better on manual. I cannot get a good answer on whether auto-focus needs to be reset in any way after being on manual. Even original manual doesn't say.
Closer to the original
This film is much better than the new Polaroid 600. Great color and detail!
Trial and error
Sometimes it comes out nice sometimes it doesn't. The results I got using the BW sx70 film were better in a sense that it was more consistent. But I haven't given up on polaroid color yet, definitely will be shooting more in the future.
Fun Product
This is a fun product and over the years the quality has gotten better. My major complaint is the price. I think they should add at least 2 more exposures which would match the SX70 film counter, what the original packs contained and make the price more reasonable.

Worked great. I got it to try a SX-70 I got at a yard sale and it worked perfectly! Will definitely buy more.
It's OK, It's OK, It's OK It's OK
It's getting better, though I'm comparing it to SX-70 time zero film. The colours are getting better, but it doesn't have the magic of Time Zero because of the opaque mask, which isn't white, but dark, and doesn't clear for around 15 minutes. You think there's something wrong with the colours, but the mask eventually goes away to reveal the picture.

They're polaroids....finnicky but beautiful.

These exposures function as they should. Quality isn't stunning but is satisfactory.
