Really Right Stuff VMB-35 Overview
Get your recordings wherever you go by packing the Really Right Stuff VMB-35 Travel Boom, a cabled boompole that extends to 6.4' and collapses down to 20.1", making it easy to pack in a carry-on bag when traveling. Lightweight at 1.65 lb (cabled), it features five sections made of rigid carbon fiber tubes that maintain excellent stiffness for precise microphone positioning. Ergonomic twist locks allow quick and smooth adjustment to the boompole's extension. The 3/8"-16 top thread is compatible with most microphone shockmounts.
The VMB-35 Travel Boom features a shielded, internally coiled cable with a 3-pin Neutrik XLR output connector that makes cable management easy when on location or on set. On the mic side, a low-profile, right-angle XLR connector by Cable Techniques allows for recording, even in tight spaces with low ceilings. Take the frustration out of untangling a traditional coiled cable boompole by simply loosening the red lock collar and having the internal coiled cable return to its neutral position. At the base of the pole is the added versatility of 1/4"-20 and 3/8-16" accessory threads, as well as a cold shoe mount for wireless transmitters.
