An out-of-the-box solution for a pure analog hi-fi music experience, the TURN 3 MK2 Manual Three-Speed Turntable from Reloop comes equipped with a built-in preamp and a preassembled Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. When it comes to hi-fi quality, Reloop worked to keep resonance at a minimum by using a low-vibration DC motor with the TURN 3 MK2's belt drive, and mounting it onto a solid MDF base that rests on decoupled shock-absorbing feet. You get total manual control with a couple of convenient modern touches. A semi-auto-stop will stop the turntable at the end of a record, and an integrated USB port and cable let you digitize your favorite tracks in CD quality.
Note:
For playback of records with 78 rpm (shellac): Please deactivate the Start/Stop automatism when playing shellac records with 78 rpm (Auto-Stop Off). Otherwise playback may be interrupted before the end of the record due to the tonearm mechanism. Please also note, that an appropriate cartridge system should be chosen suitable for 78 rpm.
Quiet DC Drive
The heart of the TURN 3 MK2 is a synchronous belt drive that's powered by a low-vibration low-noise DC motor.
Electronic Speed Control
With the inclusion of an electronic speed control, the TURN 3 MK2 eliminates the need to change the drive belt when switching from 33 1/3 or 45 rpm to 78 rpm.
Note:
A 78 rpm compatible cartridge is required to playback 78 rpm (shellac) records.
Precise Tracking
Reloop redesigned their tonearm and incorporated an adjustable antiskate wheel to help insure accurate and stable tracking for the best sound experience possible.
Headshell Connection
The headshell connection is equipped with a GM/SME mechanism for individual mounting of compatible headshells and cartridges to the tonearm.
USB Recording
The integrated USB interface allows you to digitize your favorite records directly on a PC or Mac in CD quality. It's an ideal feature for archiving vinyl recordings to your digital collection.
Semi-Automatic Stop
With the integrated semi-automatic control, the Turn 3 MK2 automatically stops at the end of a record. This feature can be deactivated if you prefer full manual control.
Shock-Absorbing Feet
Decoupled, shock-absorbing feet help to prevent any unwanted vibrations and guarantee a clean audio signal.
Diecast Aluminum Turntable
The turntable of the Turn 3 MK2 is made of a heavy die-cast aluminum, which provides a solid and consistent rotational performance. The heavy and precise fabrication also adds additional mass, helping to eliminate unwanted resonance for the best possible acoustic result.
Solid Base with Piano Finish
The sturdy MDF base is covered with a fine piano finish, ensuring a detailed and warm sound image.
Gold-Plated Connections
Gold-plated connections work to provide a cleaner signal transmission for better sound.
