Sabrent EC-KSL3 Overview
Quickly convert your internal 3.5" or 2.5" SATA hard drive to a portable external storage device with the Sabrent 3.5" / 2.5" SATA to USB 3.0 Tool-Free External Drive Enclosure. Designed for fast and easy use, you can quickly install and change out drives without the hassle of looking for a screwdriver or other tool. Simply slide your separately purchased SATA compatible drive into the enclosure's disk tray, making sure that the connectors fit snugly, then put the cover back on. That's it. Plug the included power adapter into the device and wall outlet to power up the device and use the USB cable to connect the enclosure to your compatible computer's USB 3.0 / USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port to transfer data at up to 625 MB/s, depending on the speed of the drive. The enclosure is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports.
Its durable aluminum exterior helps to keep your drive protected while dissipating heat and the ABS interior absorbs shock and vibration. The bright LED status indicator shows when the drive is in use. This drive enclosure is designed to work with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems without requiring any additional software drivers or hardware.
