The sturdy fluid head can handle payloads of up to 8.8 lb, and the smooth pan and tilt performance make it a perfect match for using it with optional spotting scopes or binoculars.
The PRO AL-523 Aluminum Tripod from Slik is a 3-section support with a flip-lock leg system. You can extend the legs by disengaging them and raising the rapid center column, so the tripod can reach a maximum height of 62.1". For the tripod to drop to a minimum height of 8.7", you can splay legs out and split the column in half, so the column doesn't hit the ground when the tripod is at its lowest height. The 3.8 lb support has a load capacity of 13.2 lb, and its rubber feet prevent the tripod from sliding on smooth surfaces and provide a secure hold on uneven terrain. The tripod folds to a length of 23" to easily store in its included case for travel.
Ideal for run-and-gun videographers or photographers, the SVH-520 Fluid Video Head from Slick boasts smooth panning and precise tilt thanks to its fluid construction. The head can support loads up to 8.8 lb for use with mirrorless cameras. An Arca-compatible quick release plate with a 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw secures your device of choice. Easily pan 360° with the pan handle, which can be attached to either the right or left side of the head. A spring-loaded counterbalance allows for accurate tilting movements. Mount the head onto tripod legs using the 3/8"-16 thread and the 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 bushing adapter.
