This level of accuracy can be essential in industrial inspections, construction, and surveying. The kit offers a quick, safe, efficient, and cost-effective method of accessing hard-to-reach areas and structures compared to manual inspection. The kit is comprised of a base station that feeds GNSS signals to the Airpeak remote, which relays them to dual receiving antennas on the Airpeak.
High Precision Advantages
With centimeter-level precision, the Airpeak S1 can provide the mapping data needed to create accurate 3D models of structures. It can also provide incredibly precise geotagging of images. The position of the drone is offset from the antenna position to the center of your payload's imaging sensors, and this positioning information is synchronized with the timing of image data capture. Note that the geotagging feature requires a future update.
Flight Stability
The accuracy of the drone's positioning with the RTK kit can not only allow for the precise flying of automated flight paths and hovering, but it also increases the control fidelity of manual flight and hovering.
