Polytune 3 will automatically detect your playing and switch between monophonic or polyphonic tuning. You can engage internal DIP switches for activating a true bypass (ideal for pure tone when using minimal pedals and short cables), buffered bypass (for long cable runs and lots of pedals), and a buffered bypass with Always On mode, which constantly tracks your tuning even when unmuted. The pedal also has settings for standard tuning, various drop tunings, and several capo tunings.
