The Tentacle Sync E mkII Timecode Generator dual set pairs two lightweight, super-compact Sync E mk2 timecode generators with two downloadable Tentacle Sync Studio software licenses (macOS). These updates to the Tentacle Sync E feature Bluetooth 5.0 setup and battery management improvements. Designed for vlogging, events, multicamera setups, and post syncing, the Sync E mkII can generate any SMPTE timecode or jam-sync to an external timecode source.

Very good !
Very good piece of technology, easy to sync with other timecode systems like the :wave or :pulse for exemple, accurate timecode during all day, easy to sync with DSLR and GoPro's...2 iOS apps to control the sync status and to sync GoPros with QR code ! Very good, I recommend it !
Phew what a time saver
I love editing but audio syncing has always been a time consuming , boring huddle I had to go through. with tentacle timecode i can focus on the creative part. I dont know how I survived without timecode . Its easy to setup and ready to go.I just wish it had a little screen so i dont have to set it up on my phone.Thank you tentacle

PC Users Issue
For years I used PluralEyes software to sync my clips. To be honest, I did not have any issues using PluralEyes. PluralEyes uses Sound for Syncing Not Timeline, but I wanted something more professional, Therefore I purchased Tentacle Sync. Syncing is very easy, with Tentacle you are using Timecode, not the actual Sound Clapping. Here is the Problem: Tentacle Sync comes with a Tentacle Timecode Tool, and it's designed for MAC, Not PC. There is a PC Version, but it's not like the MAC Version. With Mac Version, after dragging and dropping all your Video, and Audio Clips into the Tentacle Timecode Tool, It creates Sapareate Timeline for each clip. So technically if you have 50 Clips you have 50 different Timelines. Later you can take it to Post and Sny them easily. But, If you are a PC User like myself, the Tentacle Timecode Tool does not have the extra features that come for MAC users. If you have for example few Clips, then it's okay, you just drag and drop your clips, and later you can Sync them in the Post. But, if you have for example 30 Clips, then it's extremely hard to organize the Clips. Again, It's a great product for Syncing.
DURABLE - Crazy good battery life.
Fantastic. Durable Great battery life. Even better app. Easy to sync and first day PA's with no exp can run them (I don't recommend that - but that's how easy the system and app are to learn). Only wish they would come out with a 4-6 track XLR recorder to match their Track E that are amazing Lav recorders. But for straight timecode across multiple cameras they can't be beat. Simple. Reliable. Durable.
