WANDRD adds their Essential Deep Camera Cube, adjustable waist belt, and their standard Accessory Straps to their high-capacity pack with this PRVKE 41L Photo Bundle, offered here in basic black. WANDRD PRVKE 41L Reviews
Exactly the same as the 31L, but deeper
The 21L has a smaller overall shape. The 31L and 41L have the same front/back profile. It's just that the 41L is about two inches deeper (front to back). It fits full-frame DSLRs and a pack of 100mm filters more comfortably. The side access door is also roomier than the 31L. I can get the full frame DSLR in/out of the side door very easily. The shoulder straps are attached to the main door rather than to the bag's body. That puts a lot of stress on the zipper. It seems to be a point of failure which many people have commented on in reviews on forums, but I have yet to come across someone who actually had a zipper fail. The construction of this bag is excellent and well thought out. The rubberized fabric is very heavy duty. The inside can be used with one large camera insert or a smaller 'cube', thus leaving the upper half for other items (food, jackets, etc). The inserts can be reconfigured with removeable padded partitions. The partitions velcro into place, but the 'hook' part of the velcro is on both sides. So there are potentially very rough areas rubbing against my gear. What were they thinking? I like that this backpack could be used for general travel since it doesn't scream "I am a camera bag!" It has an urban vibe.
Look No Further!
I recently had a photo/video gig out of town and had to travel by plane. I looked for a whole day for the right bag for the job. This bag was the one I decided on. And boy did I pick the one to rule them all. This bag is robust, durable, and it looks great. It fit 5 lenses (including a 70-200), a flash, Canon 6d w/ grip, 15 macbook pro, and various other items. While this bag may have hefty price, I'm here to tell you it's worth it and I plan to get a smaller size as well for local work. Just be sure to grab the WANDRD Pro Deep Camera Cube (Black) to maximize the space for more gear. Hope this helps anyone looking for the right travel gear bag. Oh, it's supposed to be backed by a lifetime warranty.
