Great choice for PS5 expansion
Installed and formatted in under 5 minutes. Moved over 350+ GB's also in under 5 minutes. A true 2TB available for storage as total cap shows 2.1. So far games are running crispy, and loading fast and smooth. No complaints. This is truly a must have upgrade. At least 1Tb, but I'm glad I went with the 2. Now I'd like to look into a cooling device as this particular drive runs a bit hot, and for the price of these drives, I'd like to protect it as best I can. Buy it!! This is a great deal at at 180 too. Average price is anywhere from 220-250 at most other sites. Can't recommend the WD_BLACK SN850X enough! Pay attention when shopping too, the X is the newer and slightly faster version than the standard SN850.
High Performing NVMe for PS5
The drive works very well in my PS5, removed the NVMe cover to improve airflow for cooling and installed vented side panels to assist as well. Great customer support over the phone for APO shipping and the package was very well insulated. Speed reviews for the drive are accurate to what I saw on videos online.
