Planar Systems URX85 Overview
The Planar UltraRes X Series 85" UHD 4K HDR Commercial Monitor is a TAA compliant, 630 nits bright display, capable of 24/7 continuous operation. It features Planar ERO-LCD optically bonded glass technology with Corning Gorilla Glass for durability and protection in public environments.
With HDR color, built-in scheduling, monitoring, control system support, and the ability to display in portrait or landscape orientation, the URX-85-ERO is ideal for high-impact digital signage, control rooms, media rooms, and more. It offers an OPS slot for additional connectivity, and a redundant power supply to prevent failure and aid in maintenance. Multi-input display capability allows for up to four sources to be viewed on screen at one time, with image adjustments available to optimize picture quality for each source separately. The URX-85-ERO is TAA compliant with signed and encrypted firmware and no Wi-Fi or Android OS, making it secure for government applications.

Planar MediaPlex Plus Processing enables advanced multi-source viewing, image adjustments, remote monitoring, and e-mail alerts. It supports picture-in-picture, dual, triple, or quad layouts and storable preset configurations that can be recalled with one command.
Extended Ruggedness & Optics
Planar ERO-LCD (Extended Ruggedness and Optics) technology featuring Corning Gorilla Glass involves optical bonding or laminating cover glass to the front surface of the LCD video wall or large format LCD display with a bonding agent that completely fills the air gap. This creates a highly durable display surface that withstands rigors of high-traffic and interactive environments. Planar ERO-LCD also improves perceived contrast by more than 300% and reduces parallax error.
