Representing a new generation of dynamic processors that can appeal both to skilled users and those with limited time, the DL241 Auto Compressor from Drawmer is a dual-channel compressor with comprehensive auto-program features and dual-mono or stereo linked operation. Sporting a program adaptive gate/expander circuit as well as a sophisticated, automatic soft-knee compression circuit, the DL241 makes it easy to accommodate any signal or usage scenario without compromising control, as each section also features manual override and variable control over functions like attack, release, and ratio.
Adjustable peak levels allow you to avoid excessive peaks and unpleasant distortion through Zero Response Time, Zero Overshoot circuitry, and the input levels can also be adjusted, from +4 to -10 dB. With the bright LED meters, you can easily view your levels at a glance. This unit includes an AC power cord for immediate use.
The Zero Response Time is essential to avoid unpleasant distortion when mastering for CD or sending any signal to digital equipment. Zero Response Time means that the DL241 provides complete protection from even the fastest and shortest signal spikes (overloads), making the unit also ideally suited for speaker system protection in sound reinforcement applications.
